Splitsville

There has been something weighing heavily on our hearts over the past several months and after praying on it for quite some time we decided to part ways with our adoption agency this morning.  It was just not a good fit and our experiences with them (or lack thereof) were beginning to tarnish our view of the entire adoption process and make us question whether we were doing the right thing for our family.  It became increasingly clear that we needed to choose another agency before our current one ruined the entire journey for us.  Adoption was not a decision we came to lightly and to have every step in the process be either a battle or comedy of errors was trying.  For those of you close to us this likely does not come as much of a surprise and I am even envisioning a few of you doing cartwheels while reading this post.  It was long overdue.  This does however leave us with quite a bit of soul searching as we take the lessons learned and figure out where to go next.  Thank you to everyone for your understanding and we ask that you pray for us as we move on to the next chapter.   And of course we will keep all of you updated along the way J
