What do adoptive parents do to help the time pass faster during the waiting game? They get their eat on at the Wisconsin State Fair, obviously. In case you haven't heard, Wisconsinites take their overeating, artery thickening, diabetic comas very seriously. At the fair you can find just about anything you could imagine either covered in chocolate or deep fried and sometimes both! They have deep fried oreos, deep fried snickers on a stick, chocolate covered bacon and a bacon cheeseburger sandwiched in a Krispy Kreme donut just to name a few. Finished off with a side of Tums naturally. It was a lot of fun and an awesome date night. We ran into our favorite family and even managed to take in some non food related sights. It wouldn't be Wisconsin without the cows right?
And now its back to the grind. Until this weekend's date at the Zoo! :)
