Celebrating 2012

I know this post is weeks late as I have been bad at blogging.  In my defense I was blessed with some unexpected quality time with hubby and just couldn't pass it up :)
So friends, how did you celebrate the end of 2012?
We thought long and hard about how we would like to spend our last New Year's Eve as empty nesters and we came up with the following:
