Meet Scout. He is Luke's therapy pony.
We have hippotherapy for Lucas once a week and so far he loves it!
The first week he was a little nervous as he got fitted for his helmet.
He practiced on the rocking horse and then got right down to business.
He plays basketball on Scout ...
And his favorite is the kinetic sand.
His team of volunteers are amazing.
They help guide him through activities, reassure him in moms absence and help him get treats for Scout at the end.
We feel so blessed to be given the opportunity to enroll Luke in this program. It seems to be helping him so much and he loves Scout.
Poor Daddy gets lots of ride requests at home now in place of Scout. "Walk On!" Luke tells Dad.
