Baby Showers

Oh my goodness were we showered with love!  First by my coworkers, then by Don's family, then my friends and finally my side of the family.  Yep 4 showers for one LOVED little man.

 We were so excited for our little man to finally get to meet my coworkers.  He got so many fabulous gifts and books to start his own little library.  Everything was amazing and as you can see he really enjoyed himself ;)  Thanks MBG for taking pictures!

Don's family shower was next and sadly we were a little disorganized that day and didn't remember our camera :(  Lucas got to meet a lot of family that day and Grandma C had the coolest giraffe cake made.  I'm still trying to get a picture and will for sure post it if I do!

Our next shower was pretty magical thanks to Auntie Jill and all the work she put into it!  It was storybook themed and everything (including all the meals) went with a book!

We got lots of books, diapers and wipes, and a few outfits for this spoiled little guy!

Our very last shower was held with my family and some lovely ladies Grandma P works with.

We had grown women smelling diapers, enjoying the gorgeous weather, great food and good company.

And as you can see there was no shortage of love and generosity when it came to welcoming this little guy.  We are incredibly blessed!

Thanks to the thoughtfulness and generosity of everyone that attended our showers it is going to be quite some time before we have to purchase any diapers or wipes!

And because so many of you shared your favorite children's book with Lucas I had no choice but to do some Craigslist shopping and add this fantastic bookcase to his nursery.

A baby can never have enough books so we made sure it gave his library room to grow!  Thank you again to everyone who planned and attended our beautiful showers.  We would be lost without you and it means so much that you are sharing in this amazing journey.  Can you believe we are parents?!
